WEDDINGS, funerals, concerts and sporting events should all be cancelled.

That’s the directive from Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama after Fiji recorded its fourth case of COVID-19 today.

“Our ban on gatherings of 20 people or more remains in full effect,” Mr Bainimarama said during a press conference this afternoon.

“When it comes to people’s health, no event is more important than people’s lives. Remember, lives are priceless, plans can change.”
