RATEPAYERS of the Suva City Council and its other customers now have the convenience to pay their dues online using the HFC Bank internet banking and mobile banking platform.

This was made possible after the council and Fiji’s locally-owned bank HFC signed a memorandum of understanding, which would also allow the city council to continue extending its services and support to various digital platforms which in turn supports one of its objectives to continuously introduce smart city concepts.

Suva and Lami special administrators board chairman Isikeli Tikoduadua said through the MOU, the city council aimed to work at extending the relationship with HFC Bank on its digital platform.

He said the service would allow ratepayers including taxi operators, mini bus stand users, main bus stand users and tenants to pay their dues online using the HFC Bank internet banking and mobile banking platform.
