VODAFONE Fiji Bati coach Brandon Costin has made a call on his final 18-member squad for the Pacific Test Series match against the Lebanon Cedars which sees Tariq Sims being unavailable after being selected to feature for New South Wales in game two of the State of Origin.

Costin had earlier anticipated the call earlier in regards to Sims availability.

“After NSW loss in game one they were obviously going to make some changes,” Costin said.

“Tariq is one of the best players in the world and New South Wales wound love to have him in their side and we will make changes accordingly,” he said.

Daniel Saifiti joins Sims in the NSW call-up with Apisai Koroisau in doubt after sustaining an ankle injury in the Manly Sea Eagles and St George Illawara Knights National Rugby League match over the weekend.

Junior Roqica and Penrith Panthers Ratu Nanovo have joined up with the Bati at their base camp at St Mary’s Rugby League Club in Sydney.
