Cooper named on flyhalf position for Brisbane City

AUSTRALIAN international Quade cooper has been named on the flyhalf position to start for Brisbane City against Fiji Airways Drua in the National Rugby Championship tomorrow.

Cooper will line-up against Drua’s Alivereti Veitokani who played exceptionally well against Melbourne Rising last weekend.

The Drua will be looking for their second successive win this season while Brisbane City will be out to record its first win after going down to the Western Force in round 1.

City and Drua met in the first round of last year’s competition in which City won 45-36.

Meanwhile, Fiji’s former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Mosese Sorovi’s son Moses Sorovi has been named to start at halfback for City while another Fijian Emori Waqa starts on the wing.

The match kicks off at 3pm at Lautoka’s Churchill Park tomorrow.
