COMPOL successfully completes studies in the UK

Fiji Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho has made all members of the Fiji Police Force proud after being the first Fijian and South Pacific Islander to successfully complete studies at the world renowned Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) in London, United Kingdom.

According to a statement by Police, Brig-Gen Qiliho was nominated by the Fijian Government and backed by the UK Government as attendance to the RCDS course is solely by invitation.

He also did a Post Graduate Certificate with King’s College University, London in Security and Strategy for Global Leaders.

RCDS is the senior college of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom and was established in 1927, originally as the Imperial Defence College, in accordance with Winston Churchill’s vision of promoting greater understanding between senior military officers, diplomats, civil servants and officials.
