Offshore outsourcing agency Greymouse celebrated its 17th anniversary this month and looked back at some of its biggest moments and lessons learned over the years.
The company believes that anniversaries are important milestones, not just for clients and company founders, but for the team, as well.
Greymouse Fiji chief executive officer Faiyaz Khan highlighted that their teams were the ones who had turned the companies from the startups they once were to the thriving businesses they were today.
He said that’s why it’s important to take time to truly celebrate the major anniversary — and not just publicly, but internally, too.
According to Mr Khan few companies get to celebrate 17 years, so it was important for them to acknowledge and be grateful for all the dedication and hard work they went through to get here.
Greymouse celebrated in two offices— in the Philippines and in Fiji.
He said the past two years had been challenging for the company and with the worsening health conditions, they had to transition to a work from home setup.
Mr Khan said they were grateful to the team members who co-operated with them and never let this trouble the ongoing business operations.
“We also have our business continuity plan where we assured our clients that we have an updated action plan that adapts to our current condition.”
The company continues to grow and he said they had been hiring more staff and still had open positions.
“Our team is growing and is over 70 employees now.”
In terms of expansion plans Mr Khan said: “To remain on top, you must be open to growing your company and even the skills of your employees. We have already expanded into five different areas of business support with services ranging from virtual assistant services, virtual receptionist services, accounting and bookkeeping services, sales, and marketing services to IT support.”
Mr Khan said Greymouse had been in the forefront in the delivery of a variety of outsourcing services and as the pioneering BPO in Fiji, we are grateful that we have set a standard and significant role in the industry.
