CLYDE Equipment (Pacific) Ltd launched the Swedish engineered Grindex submersible pumps on Wednesday at the Tanoa Plaza in Suva.

Clyde Equipment general manager Praful Dhokai said they had acquired the selling rights for Grindex products for not only in Fiji but also for the neighbouring nations such as Tonga, Vanuatu, Samoa and other Pacific Island countries.

“Professionals in Fiji and the Pacific now have available locally solutions to drainage of unwanted water in harsh and hostile site conditions,” Mr Dhokai said.

Since its inception in 1970, Clyde has pursued excellence in its customer service, be it supplying high quality products or offering timely and effective after sales support.

“Today, Clyde has added one more internationally renowned brand — Grindex to its illustrious list,” he said.

Grindex is a world leader in electrical submersible pump technology for demanding applications such as construction, mining and heavy industry.

The pumps are known for their high reliability, durability and dependability.

Thanks to the built-in motor protection and the air valve, the pumps can run unsupervised for longer periods, and even run dry for a length of time.

Grindex range includes drainage pumps, sludge pumps, stainless steel pumps to efficiently handle corrosive fluids and slurry pumps.

These pumps have a wide range of heavy duty industrial and construction applications.

Under tough and hostile environments of mines and tunnels, these pumps are most reliable.
