COMBINED Brothers football club were able to secure a spot after six years at the 2018 Vodafone National club championship which will be held this weekend at the Fiji Football Association academy in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
Team coach Intiaz Khan said the competition would be tough because they were coming in after six years.
“The competition will be a good run for us because majority of the clubs have districts reps and very experienced players,” Khan said.
“For our team, we only have one district player so it’s a challenge for our team.”
Khan said the club was not looking to win but hoped to gain a good exposure for the players.
“Soccer is anyone’s game and we cannot predict who will win, especially at the club level.
“We will give our best in the games and hope to produce some good results.”
The team is pooled with Friends United Football Club, Nakasi Lions Football Club and Buiduna Sports Club.
