Combat fitness cards to boost RFMF physical training

Combat fitness cards were handed over to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by the Australian Defence Force recently to assist the RFMF personnel maintain their wellness and fitness level.

According to a social media post on the Australia in Fiji  Facebook page, this will help maintain the close training links between Defence Australia and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces  through a regimen of Fiji focused combat fitness cards.

The post stated that each card in the deck has a challenging fitness session linked to a Fijian theme and enables physical training to be done practically anywhere, and the cards are also useful for a game of last card or solitaire.

The cards which were handed over to the RFMF 3rd Battalion by Defence Advisor Colonel Robert is an initiative from 8th/9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment.

The 8th/9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment has been using a similar system in Brisbane to keep fit and active over the last few months.
