Coke Games: Games tickets out

Update: 5:17PM TICKETS to one of the most sought after events in the country, the Coca-Cola Games have gone on sale in Suva today.

The games which take place April 19-21 is organized annually by the Fiji Secondary School Athletics Association (FSSAA) which indicated that close to 4000 tickets is available.

FSSAA general secretary Vuli Waqa said the event, hailed by many as being the biggest high school sporting event in the Pacific, will bring together more than 2000 athletes.

“Half of the tickets to the grandstand went on sale today and we know it will sell quickly and may run out 2-3 days out from the competition,” Mr Waqa said.

He explained the Fiji Sports Council sells directly from its premises the tickets to ground seating but all the other tickets are available at their headquarters on McGregor Road.

“Tickets will not be sent to schools, all tickets are being sold directly from here and its on a first come first served basis,” he said.

Tickets to Day 1 of the competition, Thursday April 19 are $10 flat while tickets to Friday and Saturday are sold together at $30.

The FSSAA office is open from 9am daily and in this busy period will often stay open until 9pm.
