SUVA Grammar School ended Day 1 of the Coca Cola Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Championships yesterday minus a spot for one of its star middle distance runners in today’s finals.

Kevueli Sauvakacolo who led his heat in yesterday’s 400m Junior preliminaries was not in the start list for today’s finals, distributed last night.

When contacted early this morning, Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association general secretary Vuli Waqa said he did not have direct oversight over the technical aspects of the meet and said schools needed to seek clarification directly for anomalies.
