Club ready to host netball festival

GRASSHOPPERS Netball club is ready to host the Grasshoppers Netball Festival in December 7 and 8.

Head coach Alumeci Sachs said the aim of the game was for the development of the sport in the grassroots level.

“We have always been focusing on our young ones in the club.

“We are pleased to note the response of the participating teams to this tournament,” said Sachs.

There will also be visiting teams from Australia and New Zealand.

Grades being fielded in this tournament are the under 12, 14, 16 and 19.

The festival will be held at the National Netball Centre in Laucala Bay, Suva.
