Church does not have any outstanding debt: Vakadewavosa

THE Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma does not have any outstanding debt to pay.

This was revealed this morning by the president of the church Reverend Dr Epineri Vakadewavosa in his opening address this morning at the Bose Ko Viti (church annual conference).

Rev Vakadewavosa said at the beginning of the 2018-2019 fiscal year,the church had saved $1.9 million.

He also announced that in the beginning of the 2019-2020 fiscal year,the church has made a profit of $3 million.

The meeting continues at the Centenary Church in Suva.
