Charity golf tournament for children

THE Fiji Ship Owners and agents association have passionately contributed towards the welfare of sick children through their charity golf tournament.

The association hopes that this year’s tournament will bring about more progressive and helpful contributions towards this worthy cause and hope to raise more funds.

In 2017 a total of $30,000 was raised in the one day tournament and these funds benefited the Trust Fund via the CWM Children’s Hospital.

Tournament assistant organiser, Jane Koi said the tournament had helped many children and their families get access to health care that could have been impossible to access in the country.

“This charity drive has benefited children from all over Fiji through the years and has seen sick children have access to medical attention that may have been impossible to access for their families,” she said.

The annual charity golf tournament will be held at the Fiji Golf Club in Vatuwaqa on Friday, July 13.
