Change culture of delays, medical interns advised

HEALTH Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete yesterday reminded the new intern medical officers to change the culture of delays when attending to patients.

He made the comments while officiating at the opening of the three-day induction training for medical officers at the Pearl Resort in Navua.

He reiterated to the 96 medical officers their roles and responsibilities before taking on their new postings for the next three years.
