Capital projects planned

A MAJOR distributor of frozen chicken will commence several significant capital projects in the new year as it anticipates increasing demand from consumers.

Goodman Fielder Fiji general manager Chris Zaayman said these projects would build and increase capacity for the future.

“2014 has been a year of growth and a year of changing consumer and shopper behaviour with chicken consumed on more frequent occasion and in larger quantities per occasion,” he said.

“We also launched our first loyalty program with our Crest cool stuff for schools campaign. As the year draws to a close, we believe we have an excellent platform on which we can build in 2015.”

He said approval for the campaign from the Ministry of Education and looked forward to the major prize draw on February 7 next year.

The major prize includes a brand new house and car.
