A MAN from Vunisea Village is believed to be the latest road fatality victim.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the victim was driving a cane truck along the Nayaulevu Road, Barotu in Rakiraki when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer off the road.
“The victim died at the scene of the accident,” Ms Naisoro said.
“The road death toll stands at 33 compared to 46.”
