The president of the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) Ratu Epenisa Cakobau today admitted that there was a need to forge unity within the party.
“SODELPA needs to be ready for the occasion and the biggest task we have at hand is to clean up our house and forge unity within the party,” Ratu Epenisa said.
“I therefore plead to all members and supporters that we must all put aside our differences and work together as a united front,” he said.
“Not just for the party but for the people.”
Ratu Epenisa made these remarks in his opening address this morning during the party’s annual general meeting at the Novotel Convention in Lami.
