THE Cakaudrove Provincial Council has commended the various State-funded projects targeted at enhancing the livelihoods of rural dwellers.
In particular, the council commended the Government’s development projects saying it had improved the livelihoods of people in their villages and communities within the province.
Council chairperson Ratu Jekesoni Yavalanavanua said villagers had been blessed with development projects such as the hydro project in Somosomo on Taveuni.
“Through these projects, people are empowered to do better in life and economically support themselves,” Ratu Jekesoni said.
