Bygones be bygones: Bainimarama

Update: 2:12PM PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says he traveled to New Zealand with the intention of seeking a much stronger engagement between Fiji and NZ.
“I’m delighted to have had the opportunity of a lengthy and very productive meeting today with Prime Minister John Key,” Mr Bainimarama said in a media statement after their meeting in NZ.
“And I’m very pleased that the Prime Minister has agreed to work with me to take our relationship to another level.
“A relationship in which we let bygones be bygones and work closely together to advance the interests of the Fijian and New Zealand peoples,” he said.
