Businesswoman charged with malicious act granted bail

A 47-year-old businesswoman who allegedly posted information on social media regarding the closure of a boarding school and other allegations that were proven to be false has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Faith Grace appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court charged with one count of Malicious Act under Section 15 (a) of the Public Order Act.

Under her bail conditions, Ms Grace has been told not to obtain any travelling documents and not to reoffend while on bail.

The case has been adjourned to September 21 for a plea.
