Business house bowls to start

THE Lautoka Bowling Club will commence its business house competition on September 24.

A total of 16 teams are being targeted for the competition.

Club vice president Anthony Nair said the fours competition was one of the prestigious events on their calendar.

Nair said the format would depend on the number of teams.

“The business house serves as an opportunity to encourage new players to take up the sport and at the same time enjoy and socialise with other business associates,” he said.

Two teams from Ba have already confirmed participation. They are Ba River Spinners and Koronubu Hurricanes.

The entry fee is $100 per team. Only two recognised bowlers will be allowed to play for a team.
