Business and pollution

According to reports a certain cement company is a star performer achieving historical record sales with a revenue increase of 20 per cent for the year ending June 2016.

Unfortunately I believe this level of performance has been reached at tremendous cost to the environment as can easily be seen driving past the factory where I believe the pollution is the worst it has ever been. It is particularly visible about six in the morning. The surrounding vegetation is permanently coated in a layer of dust.

There seems to be no regard for the environment nor the health of those who live in the area.

One hopes that with the big profit some action will be taken to making the factory more environmentally friendly.
