Bus company urged to get drivers back to work

THE Land Transport Authority is calling on the Central Transport bus company to get their drivers back to work in order to provide services to its customers.

In a statement, authority CEO Samuel Simpson said customers have been adversely affected as a result of the strike given by the drivers this morning.

“Central Transport bus company is in breach of operating licence and we urge the company to get their drivers back to work quickly to restore service to customers,” Mr Simpson stated.

Vatuwaqa, USP, ANZ Bank, Samabula, CWM Hospital, Toorak and Suva Bus Stand routes were affected as a result of the strike
