The National Fire Authority is spreading fire safety messages in Tavua, thanks to a partnership with Nadan Buses Ltd.

The NFA thanked the bus company for supporting the promotion of fire safety measures during the current difficult economic situation under the current COVID-19 conditions.

“We are all very grateful for this partnership arrangement in colourful and eye-catching promotion of fire safety messages on a bus which will enable a wider reach of these fire safety messages to our fellow Fijians,” said Divisional Fire Officer Western, Roveen Kumar.

“NFA’s plans to reach as many Fijians as possible with these fire safety messages and draw everyone’s attention to the seriousness of fire safety and the fact that fire does not recognise the current pandemic.”

He said support from the business community is crucial to the NFA.

“The Nadan bus with the fire safety messages will be based in Tavua but will also be used for providing services in the West and around Fiji where required.”
