FIJIFIRST MP Mosese Bulitavu says he can be in government in six months’ time.

The former SODELPA MP made this statement while responding to queries outside Parliament last Saturday about how he felt to be back in Parliament as a member of the Opposition.

“I am glad to be in Opposition,” Mr Bulitavu said.

“But I want to thank God that I am back in Parliament. It is still a long way to go because if you see the voting panel, it was 28 to 27, which shows the Prime Minister just got one more vote. Who knows, I could be in government in six months’ time.”

Mr Bulitavu secured 631 votes in the 2022 General Election, while in the 2018 General Elections as a SODELPA candidate, he got 5342 votes.
