Happy with facilities
The organisers of the Oceania Zonal Competition and Men’s Volleyball World Qualification Phase One is happy with the facilities provided by Fiji to host the tournament. More competition could be coming Fiji’s way in future.
Very few fans turned up to witness the tournament at the Vodafone Arena. There were about less than 40 people who were present in the first match with Fiji Blue and New Zealand yesterday.
There are four women’s teams competing in the zonal competition while in the men’s division there are two pools of seven teams competing. However, for the main competition, World Qualifying Phase One there are only three teams competing which includes New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji.
