CHRISTMAS came early for 32 children at the St Christophers Home in Nakasi as they received gifts and goodies from the Bridge Club Fiji this morning.

The club’s spokesperson, Shabneez Narayan, said the joyous spirit of the children at the home was really uplifting.

Despite their various backgrounds, Mrs Narayan said the fact that they could still sing and laugh was very touching.

“This is part of our voluntary service and I would love to thank members of the club for digging deep into their pockets to provide gifts for these children this morning,” she said.

Sister-in-charge at the Home Sister Kalo Tuineau said they were blessed to have the club visit them.
