VOLUNTEERING is very human, says deputy chair of Fiji Council of Social Services Cema Bolabola.

Ms Bolabola made the comment during the International Day of Volunteers organised by ADRA and FCOSS at the Holiday Inn, in Suva today.

She said the 2019 theme was volunteer for an inclusive future.

“I understand this is also tied with Sustainable Development Goal 10 on reducing inequality in our own societies, whether it includes income, opportunities and power,” Ms Bolabola said.

The program was funded by the Australia Aid, European Union and the Church Agencies Network Disaster Cooperation (CANDO).
