FIJI Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BFF) is preparing for its final event of the year.

Local body builders are looking forward to flexing their muscles to compete for the Mr Fiji and Miss Fiji titles on November 17 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.

Twenty-five men and two women have registered for the annual event.

BFF treasurer Ronal Rishay said the competition had been gathering a lot of interests from body builders. “We have a good number of competitors and most are from the West,” Rishay said.

“Eight new body builders are expected to compete for the first time.” Rishay said the increase in the number of competitors this year would boost the competition.

“Everybody looks forward to this end of the year event because it determines the Mr Fiji and Miss Fiji winners which are the most significant titles in Fiji body building.

“The show is always about promoting healthy living and we are pleased that we are able to organise another show to help spread the message of fitness.”

The program starts at 5pm in the Matua event room at the GPH.
