More individuals at rural communities are gaining access to boat master licensing training as 57 students graduated recently.
Individuals received boat master license/restricted boat master engineer class six training at Waya Island in the Yasawa group.
This was done by the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF) with logistics for the training assisted by the management of Octopus Resort.
MSAF has also stated that Fijians living on Moturiki island and its surrounding islands in the Lomaiviti group will receive the same training from January 16 to January 27 next year.
Members of the public can collect the application and medical forms at any MSAF office or provincial or district office.
