BMS, RSMS reign

RATU Sukuna Memorial School and Ballantine Memorial School won their respective grades at the 2018 Suva Zone 1 competition at the ANZ Stadium in Suva yesterday.

RSMS boys bagged nine gold, 12 silver and seven bronze medals. Nasinu which has been a dominant force over the years came in second with eight gold, two silver and five bronze medals. Dudley finished third with five gold, seven silver and six bronze.

Ballantine dominated the girls division winning 15 gold, 12 silver and 11 bronze medals. Nasinu came in second with six gold, six silver and six bronze while Dudley finished third with six gold, five silver and eight bronze medals.

Two best male athletes were named yesterday. They were Katafano Mechizedek of Dudley and Leo Cakaunivalu of RSMS.

Melania Nikola of Sacred Heart College was named the best female athlete.
