BMS, RSMS on top

Ratu Sukuna Memorial School and Ballantine Memorial School won their respective divisions at the 2018 Suva Zone 1 competition at the ANZ Stadium in Suva last week.

RSMS boys bagged nine gold, 12 silver and seven bronze medals.

Nasinu Secondary School, which has been a dominant force over the years, came in second with eight gold, two silver and five bronze medals.

Dudley High School was third with five gold, seven silver and six bronze medals.

BMS dominated the girls’ division winning 15 gold, 12 silver and 11 bronze medals.

Nasinu came in second with six gold, six silver and six bronze medals while Dudley finished third with six gold, five silver and eight bronze medals.

Katafano Mechizedek of Dudley and Leo Cakaunivalu of RSMS were the best male athletes.

Melania Nikola of Sacred Heart College was named the best female athlete.
