Nadi Football Association president Javed Ahmed said the 2018 local league competition was successful. Ahmed said 90 minutes football was introduced in the super premier division.

“The 90 minute football for clubs really helped the district,” he said.

“Our season was prolonged this year so we hope to kick off the local league in early February. The clubs will need to comply with their player transfers and licensing in time.”
