THE Lakeba under 19 rugby 7s team will get its biggest rugby break when it features in next week’s McDonalds Coral Coast 7s tournament.

Laced with school drop-outs and village youths, the islanders are expected to leave the Lau Group this weekend in their quest to expose their talents at the best and toughest local 7s event.

The players have sweating it out at training in the past months and are looking forward to their first ever big 7s tournament exposure.

The side has been drawn in a tough pool alongside Ratu Filise, Rush Academy and Gaunavou.

The Coral Coast Youth 7s kicks off at Wednesday at Lawaqa Park
