Bench warrant issued for man on aggravated robbery charge

A BENCH warrant has been issued for a man who failed to appear in court today.

Mataiyasi Navugona, 26, failed to appear before judge Justice Chamath Morais while Sailosi Ramacake Tuvuci, 19, has been further remanded.

The two are charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

It is alleged that Mr Navugona and Mr Tuvuci on April 21, 2018, in Nadera, had robbed three persons with assorted items all to the total value of $1900.

The case has been adjourned March 7.
