FIJI Airways Fiji Barbarians 7s team coach Saiasi Fuli is wary of the teams in the Silicon Valley 7s which will be played in San Francisco this weekend.
England, Australia, and USA will be fielding their best teams which will have players who have been playing in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
“England, USA and Australia are bringing their number one teams including Samoa and Argentina. It is good for the teams and the players in terms of exposure and experience,” Fuli said.
“Banuve Tabakaucoro, Kalione Nasoko, and Isake Katonibau are out injured and they will recover and able to put their hands up for the Oceania 7s next week.”
Olympian and roburst forward Jasa Veremalua will lead the team which has players like Amenoni Nailasila, Emosi Mulevoro and Leo Naikasau.
“There will be two teams. One will compete in the Pacific Mini Games while the other one will compete in the series,” he added.
The team departed on Tuesday.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, China, and Japan.
