Bank celebrates 112th anniversary

BANK of Baroda staff across the country are celebrating the bank’s 112th anniversary today.

The bank which originated from India was established in Baroda in 1908.

It opened its first branch in Fiji in 1961.

Bank of Baroda Lautoka branch manager Dharmendra Nand said today marked a special time for the staff.

He said bank staff all over the country would be committed to a week-long community engagement projects to celebrate the special event.

Today, the staff at the Lautoka branch participated in a clean-up campaign of the popular Marine Drive.
