ANZ Bank has added new features to its ANZ Pacific App to make banking on the go easier and more secure for Fiji and Pacific customers.
According to the announcement today, th new features include:
- fingerprint ID (Android) & TouchID (iOS) log in
- local bank and international transfers
- now available to Business Internet Banking customers
- schedule future dated and recurring payments
- access existing templates created in internet banking
- view closing credit card balance
ANZ Regional Executive for Pacific Tessa Price in a statement said just six months ago, the bank was the first to introduce a Pacific-wide mobile banking app.
She said since then, more than 16,000 people across the Pacific, including Fiji, have been using the ANZ Pacific App.
“In that time, we’ve seen a 120 per cent increase in the value of transfers made using the ANZ Pacific App. We know this figure will continue to grow as smartphone use increases across the region and more of our customers choose digital banking.”
ANZ Fiji Country head Saud Minam said they were pleased to take an industry leadership position in driving digital here in Fiji.
“More than 65 per cent of our Internet Banking customers are now using the ANZ Pacific App,” he said.
“We are listening to our customers and continuing to make investments in digital, not only to stay ahead of the competition, but to provide the best experience for our customers and staff.”
