Bainimarama conveys well wishes to Indian counterpart

Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama conveyed his congratulations to India on the occasion of the country’s 74th Independence Day anniversary.

Mr Bainimarama, in a congratulatory message to his Indian counterpart Shri Narendra Modi, conveyed the Fijian Government’s and the people of Fiji’s best wishes and heartfelt congratulations to the Government of the Republic of India and its people on the occasion of 74th Independence Day.

“Our two countries have enjoyed warm and friendly relations over the years based on our historical ties, shared values and aspirations,” Mr Bainimarama said.

“I am confident that this will provide a foundation for deeper bilateral engagements and co-operation during these unprecedented times and into the future.

With best wishes for continued success and prosperity, we join you and the people of India in celebrating this milestone.”
