Bail extended for mother and daughter on theft charge

A MOTHER and daughter charged with one count of theft had their bail extended by the Suva Magistrates Court today.

It is alleged that Angeline Mala Singh, 46, and Jeshika Jeshlin Lata, 20, stole assorted items to the total value of $488.37 from Jacks of Fiji on December 26, 2018, in Suva.

Magistrate Asanga Bodaragama has informed the duo that this will be the final time he will defer their plea.

The case has been adjourned to March 12 for a plea.
