Average attendance in northern schools

Most schools in the North recorded an average attendance of students who returned to school today.

Labasa Sangam  College recorded a 59 per cent turnout of students while 32 per cent of students turned up at Holy Family Secondary School.

Sangam College school manager Kamlesh Reddy said they were working closely with teachers in ensuring that COVID protocol were followed in school.

“We are following all COVID protocols in schools and teachers are ensuring that all students abide.”

For All Saints Secondary School, out of the 438 students, only 184 turned up for classes.

Savusavu Secondary School received 469 students out of the roll of 765 while Holy Cross College on Taveuni saw less students for classes.
