US-based wholesale tour operator Avanti Destinations will be launching products in Australia and Oceania for the first time, including in Fiji.

Avanti has offerings in Europe, Asia, Central and South America, North Africa and the Middle East as part of its extensive portfolio of vacations, tours, and hotels.

The new products for Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji will be launched September 12 and will include eight recommended vacations, two in Fiji.

According to Travel Market Report, Avanti’s Fiji-based hotels, resorts, and tours will span Suva, Nadi, the Coral Coast, the Mamanuca Islands, the Yasawas and Taveuni among others.

According to Avanti CEO Paul Barry the move was prompted by the company’s travel advisor partners who have been asking for offerings in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific for some time saying it is because these places are very high on most people’s travel bucket lists.

“It is also a region that will give advisors repeat bookings,” the Travel Market Report cited Mr Barry saying.

“Once clients take one independent vacation there, they will want to return, and Avanti’s wide array of outstanding experiences ensures that each vacation you create is different from the last.”

In terms of experiences and tours, there are currently 28 planned for Fiji and travel advisors can customise each client’s itinerary based on their interests, desires and expectations.

An e-brochure with further information will be available on Avanti’s travel advisor portal from September 12.
