THE Fiji Roads Authority has yet again requested the public and motorists to be patient because roadworks were expected to continue.
FRA chief executive officer Jonathan Moore said eight sections were undergoing road constructions within the Suva arterial road upgrade, one of which was Ratu Mara Rd.
He said the completion of these roadworks solely depended on the weather.
“We will work to keep disruptions to a minimum and we ask the public for patience during these important works,” he said.
“Roadworks along Ratu Mara Rd from the Fiji National University campus in Samabula to Lakeba St will be completed by the end of February. However, this timescale is subject to the weather,” he said.
Mr Moore apologised for the short-term inconvenience, but for people to keep in mind that this was for long-term improvement.
