Aust govt to focus on Nadi river

AUSTRALIAN Prime Minister Scott Morrison, while speaking at the University of the South Pacific this morning confirmed that his government in consultation with Fiji’s PM Voreqe Bainimarama will be focusing on the Nadi River in the near future.

Morrison said he had a chat with his Fijian counterpart yesterday and realised the importance of immediate work need at the Nadi river.

He also stated the Australia-USP partnership towards which the Australian government will be contributing $84m for the next six years.

Morrison will now head to APTC in Samabula before making his way to Nadi
