AMALGAMATED Telecom Holdings (ATH) has announced its appointment of Mauritian Tangavel Barlen Lutchmoodoo to the role of CEO at Telecom Vanuatu Limited (TVL).
Mr Lutchmoodoo who has been working as chief commercial officer and was acting in the CEO role since December last year assumed his new role on February 15, 2019.
A statement from ATH stated that with former CEO Divik Deo now having decided to depart the company, Mr Lutchmoodoo would now provide strategic leadership to the organisation.
Originally from Mauritius, it has been noted that Mr Lutchmoodoo had been a key member of the executive team at TVL for the past four years.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication and a Masters in Communication Management from Strathclyde University in Scotland.
Mr Lutchmoodoo has more than two decades of experience and a proven track record in telecommunications, commencing his career with Mauritius Telecom as an engineer.
