Association set up to address the needs of agro-exporters

AN interim association named the Fiji Agro Exporters Association has been set up after a meeting of exporters in Sigatoka this week.

The purpose of the association is to address the needs of all exporters in Fiji.

Exporters also met with Agriculture Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy to iron out issues.

Founder and managing director of Cacao Fiji Arif Khan welcomed the formation of the interim association.

He said he looked forward to working with other exporters in promoting Fiji’s agricultural exports.
