DIGICEL Pacific this morning launched ASPIRE, a 12-month leadership program aimed at building leadership capacity by equipping and empowering its leaders to take on more strategic roles.
Digicel regional CEO Colin Stone said the program was designed to provide leadership training for high potential Digicel staff to support and prepare them to move into future leadership positions within its business.
“This program is another example of the continued commitment from Digicel to build leadership capacity across its markets,” Mr Stone said.
He said all ASPIRE participants would participate through a combination of learning methods, including but not limited to, classroom training, on the job training, mentoring, coaching, recommended reading materials, quarterly meet the CEO sessions, lunch and learn sessions and observer seats at board meetings.
Twenty Pacific-based staff from Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Nauru will be complemented by a further 30 future leaders from Digicel PNG who will undertake the training.
