Aspen Medical Global chief executive officer Bruce Armstrong visited the new Ba Hospital this week.

He met the staff members and congratulated them on the smooth transition to the new Ba Hospital.

He was in Fiji to see the progress with Aspen Medical transitioning into both Lautoka and Ba hospitals this month.

Aspen Medical Fiji started its operations at the new Ba Hospital on April 9.

Fiji National Provident Fund and Aspen Medical have a contract with the Fijian Government to run the two hospitals and have formed Health Care (Fiji) Pte Ltd to oversee the operations.

“We have waited two years to see this day following COVID-19 related delays,” said Health Care (Fiji) Pte Ltd chief executive officer Annette Owttrim.

“We are grateful for the Fijian Government’s enormous support and the guidance of our partners, the Fiji National Provident Fund.”
