Arrangements for affected USP staff

SEVERAL arrangements have been made for University of the South Pacific (USP) staff at its Laucala Bay campus after a fire engulfed one of its main buildings on Thursday.

The USP Communications Building at Laucala Campus caught fire on Thursday night.

The Communications Building houses the Student Administrative Services, Pacific Technical and Further Education and the Centre for Flexible Learning.

While the university awaits the assessment from the National Fire Authority, the following arrangements have made for affected staff:

SAS Staff

The SAS Assessment, Banner and Enrolment staff are to report to the AUSAid Tutorial Block computer labs while all other SAS staff are to report to the USP Gymnasium.

Pacific TAFE Staff

Pacific TAFE staff are to report to Statham Campus.

CFL staff

CFL staff are to report to the AUSAid Tutorial Block.

Staff can contact their respective Heads of Department should they have any questions.
